There are some organisations that test students every 2-3 months but at Wing Chun UK we have a lot of important and necessary substance to our syllabus and programs. We expect a good standard when testing therefore our time scales are far more realistic. We have in the end students that attain a real standard on testing through their perseverance and commitment.
We are often thanked by students after their testing as they have a real sense of achievement for the effort that they have put in. With our clear and very carefully structured syllabus every single student knows exactly where they are positioned and what their next personal goal is.
It is our endeavour that students learning with Wing Chun UK are trained to the highest standards both in application and in understanding and then each can personally attain their very best potential.
We understandably cannot accept grade levels attained from other wing chun styles as most wing chun/wingtsun/WingChun use different training methods depending on their lineage. But, if you have previous experience that can naturally aid the pace of your progress.
