Brighton and Lewes Drop in Class

New for Autumn 2014 at Brighton & Lewes Wing Chun

Brighton & Lewes Wing Chun is pleased to offer new Drop-in Wing Chun classes, in parallel with our standard Sunday morning programme.

At any time between 10am and noon, just come along to class, pay on the door for the length of time you wish to train and join in*. As with all our classes there are no contracts or lock-ins. A uniform t-shirt is all the ‘special equipment’ you need, and we provide one free for all new members.

These classes are designed specially for those dropping off children at other Southdown activities, who perhaps would like a gentle (re)introduction to martial arts or who may simply be unable to attend the full two-hour Sunday class. You don’t need to be fit, young or an experienced martial artist to get involved, and the style is especially suitable for women.

Although not often seen now, this training method was customary in traditional Wing Chun schools for many years, and we are pleased to continue that tradition.

There will be no compromise on standards; Drop-in students will study the full syllabus but will each have a Personal Progress Record to help them track the key stages of their learning and development. They will also be equally eligible to take grading tests, to enable them to progress to the next levels of training should they so wish.
